Project Management

We scale our management procedures to the scope of the project, and will consider the expected degree of risk, likely duration, complexity, estimated costs, the value of expected benefits, impact on the existing organisation, the required level of stakeholder or supplier management, etc. Although we do not strictly follow Prince II management methodology we adopt elements of it it where we feel it is appropriate.
We will analyse and further develop the initial Business Case in close conjunction with the client regarding:

-
Delivery of required outcomes and benefits,
-
Assessments of risks, options and opportunities,
-
Complexity,
-
Dependencies
-
Likely duration of the project,
-
Funding; available and likely to be required.
There are two essential documents that will be generated for authorisation by the client at the end of this process:
1. The final Business Case which enables the client to establish the overall plan project costs, risks and viability
2. The Project Initiation Document which outlines the understanding of the scope and nature of the project and how different
aspects are going to be managed and once approved will instigate implementation of the project

Management of projects may be provided as a distinct exercise focussed on delivery of projects, or in conjunction with our design services, and may include:

-
Feasibility study and option appraisals
-
Confirmation of Project initiation document, initial Project Brief and Business Case
-
Exchange with clients and client representatives, end users, occupants, etc.
-

linea provides a range of project management services, either in-house or in conjunction with specialist sub-consultants depending on the size and nature of projects.

We are commonly introduced to the project when our client has completed an internal evaluation, justifying the need for the project, and the desired outcome and benefits.
